RC Kasthamandap has been providing support in Dharan since last 16 years to the disable children and senior citizens. This year also PP Niranjan Bhattarai visited the place to handover some items in Dharan and also in Jhapa on behalf of RC Kasthamandap.
On 9th January 2023 (25th Poush 2079) two wheelchairs to disable as well as blankets, white sticks, senior citizen sticks were distributed to 32 senior citizens in Samajik Bihar, Chatara, Dharan in a program chaired by Prof. Dr. Sanjiv Kumar Sharma, BP Koirala, Health Academy which was attended by about 85 people including members of Samjik Bihar, Jaycees, businessmen and social workers. The cost was approximately Rs. 50,000 which was supported by various RC Kasthamandap members.
Two wheelchairs and 25 blankets were provided to Susta Manasthiti Sasokar at Suranga, Kankai, Jhapa on 7th January 2023 (23rd Poush 2079). The cost was approximately Rs 30,000 which was mainly funded by PP Prabhu Ram Bhandary and PP Niranjan which benefited 28 persons. Mayor of Kankai Nagarpalika Mr. Rajendra Pokharel also attended the distribution program.
