25th Anniversary Silver Jubilee Program of Rotary Club of Kasthamandap was held on 17th January 2026 (2082-10-03) at Radisson Hotel, Lazimpat Kathmandu. Chief Guest of the program was District Governor 3292 Rtn. Binod Koirala. The program was attended by Eight Japanese Rotarians from three different clubs of Japan (Shimodate, Hitachi, Tsuchiura), District 3292 officials, AG, Charter President, President, Secretary, PE, Past Presidents, club members and spouse as well as Rotarians from other Rotary clubs and guests including Miss Nepal World and Miss Nepal Earth.
The Program was started with National Anthem & Rotary Song and welcome Address by Program Convener of the Ceremony PP Rtn. Pradeep Kumar Shrestha. Secretary Rtn. Sanjay Dudhani gave slide presentation of 25 years of Journey of RC Kasthamandap.
DG Rtn. Binod Koirala handed over Memento to the Charter President, Past Presidents, Club Members, Rotaract Club and Interact Club to recognize their contributions to the society through Rotary over 25 years of Self-Above-Service.
On the occasion Japanese delegates PDG Rtn. Shoichi Fujii RID 2820 and RRFC, PDG Rtn. Kazuo Arai delivered the speech and gave presentation highlighting the sister relations and major activities carried out in collaborations with the clubs.
Club President Rtn. Prof. Dr. Manohar Lal Shrestha and delegates handed over the scholarship award Rs. 2,50,000 to 25 blind students through Pawan Ghimire, Member Secretary, NAWB which was contributed by RCK Members and also NRs. 50,000 to NAWB representative for Brail Calendar Printing as part of WCS Project 2026.
PDG Rtn. Kiran Lal Shrestha, Assistant Zonal Action Champion of RI for 2026-2029 handed over Automated External Defibrillator (AED) machine to RCK Member Dr. Rudra Marasani for National Trauma Center as Dr Marasini is the Chief Medical Superintendent of the center.
Speech was also delivered by President Rtn. Prof. Dr. Manohar Lal Shrestha, Chief Guest DG Rtn. Binod Koirala, Charter President Rtn. Gajendra Bahadur Shrestha and vote of thanks by President Elect Rtn. Shailesh Vaidya
Meeting ended by MC Bijay Karmacharya after 25th Anniversary Cake Cutting ceremony together with Miss Nepal World Luna and Miss Nepal Earth Sony.
