The Rotary Club of Kasthamandap is delighted to announce the successful completion of its 22nd Installation Ceremony and Charter Night on 27th June 2023, hosted at Hotel Shankar in Lazimpat. At the event, Rtn. Yadab Lal Pradhan, the outgoing President, gracefully handed over the leadership responsibilities to Rtn. Om Rajbhandary, the incoming President.
The ceremony was honored by esteemed guests including Chief Guest DGE Rtn Rajendra Prasad Dhoju, PDG Tirtha Man Shakya, PDG Rtn Jaya Rajya Laxmi Shah, AG Samjhana Pokharel, AGE Rtn Saroj Shrestha and Miss Nepal World 2023 Miss Srichchha Pradhan. Distinguished district officials, Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, and community leaders also attended the event, making it a truly memorable and inspiring occasion.
Rtn. Yadab Lal Pradhan took the opportunity to express his heartfelt appreciation to the team and celebrate the remarkable achievements accomplished during his tenure. His leadership, hard work, and unwavering commitment have set a commendable example for the entire club. A standing ovation was given to outgoing President Rtn Yadab Lal Pradhan for the successful tenure as proposed by Charter President Rtn Gajendra B Shrestha. A token of appreciation was presented to Rtn Yadab lal Pradhan and first lady Rtn Prabha Rajbhandary Pradhan to acknowledge their efforts and hard work shown during the tenure. Additionally, the club members generously donated funds to various organizations as part of their ongoing efforts to make a positive impact in the community. The donors were acknowledged for their contribution to various endowment funds.
Incoming President Rtn. Om Rajbhandary expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and shared his vision for the upcoming Rotary Year. He emphasized the club’s commitment to empower lives, uplift communities, and also to work towards the district theme, “Light of Hope,” aligning with Rotary International’s theme “Create Hope in the World” for the Rotary Year 2023-24. Rtn. Rajbhandary’s vision inspires confidence and unity among the members as they embark on this new chapter of service.
The ceremony concluded with a heartwarming fellowship among the attendees. Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, and guests had the opportunity to connect, share stories, and strengthen the bonds of friendship. The spirit of fellowship among Rotarians serves as a powerful reminder of the enduring bonds that unite them in their commitment to Service above self.
