With the mission to minimize the use of LPG gas for cooking by electric cooking, RC Kasthamandap visited Pithouli, Nawalparasi for three days service project on 4th to 6th March 2023.
Pithouli village at Nawalparasi is the adopted village of RC Kasthamandap where a small step but good initiative is started.
Total 24 units of Infrared and 24 units of electric kettle were distributed in Pithouli village. At this stage it may not be enough however we are very happy to start this process aiming at least one small village can be fully LPG gas free and make environment friendly, RCK President Yadab Pradhan said during a distribution ceremony. At the ceremony 15 units of Wheelchairs were also distributed. Stationary, school bags, sports materials and some books were also distributed to the school. President thanked all RCK Members as the required funds were provided by them to procure these items.
The distribution program was held at Pithouli health post where President Yadab, AG Samjhana, PP Gyanendra, Ward Chair of Pithouli, Hospital staff spoke about the program.
